The Story Behind Egomartini

FREELANCE MULTIMEDIA DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

Egomartini is the freelance/contract design identity of Jeremy Thobe. Based just outside of Cincinnati, Ohio. Egomartini began while I was working on interactive projects for industrial design and graphic design companies. From there, it became a official front end for all my freelance work.

After college, this site and the name because not only a place for my resume and portfilio, but it because a large part of my continuing professional growth. Now, this site contains all the notable work that Egomartini has been involved in in the past eight years.

I'm always looking for new and exciting projects to work on in any industry. Wether you need Flash animation, actionscripting, or a website for your new product or event, feel free to contact me.

Education

I graduated in 2003 from the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Architecture, Art and Planning. My major, Digital design was a five-year program that included a total of 1-1/2 years of co-op work experience that lead to a bachelor of science in design degree.

The Digital Design program combined extensive course work in areas such as interface design, animation, programming, 3D modeling and video editing. To that, the co-op program provided us with practicle experience at local and international corporations whos' focus ranged from packaging and retail design, industrial design, to marketing and web development.

Professional Experience

Co-op experience combined with regular full-time interactive work for branding focused companies such as Crown Equipment, Fisher Design and Graphica has put me in a unique position to plan and develop compelling interactive work that will help you communicate with your customers. From Flash animation and actionscripting to voice-overs and video, to HTML and CSS development, Egomartini is a full service interactive shop.
