When Fisher Design’s Interactive Media Group became frustrated with the limitations of PowerPoint, they decided to design a Flash based presentation builder application that would allow a user to pick between modules developed for portfolio projects from the interactive group. While the final application was never realized, the demo builder used XML to pull
together selected modules and incorporate text from those XML files.
The portfolio modules were built with two text options, bulleted short information for presentation mode, and longer textual information for leave behinds. The correct formatting was used based on what player accessed the information.
Audio elements and animation was used not only to peak interest in the material, but to help brand the presentation and it's individual modules.
